Polynucleotides
Treatments start from £200
Service Description
This is the new buzz in the aesthetics industry. Popular due to their ability to change skin at a cellular level stimulating regeneration rather than over filling with dermal fillers. What are polynucleotides and where are they injected? Polynucleotides are tiny fragments derived from fish that mimic human DNA. When injected, they boost collagen and elastin production by stimulating fibroblasts. These treatments are great for rejuvenating the neck, lips, under-eye area, cheeks, and jawline. The under-eye area treatments are especially popular among those who want to avoid the risks of tear-trough fillers. They can also be used on the hands and in the hair follicles to stimulate hair regrowth. Not only to they target signs of aging but they can also help with acne, rosacea and scaring. Who can use polynucleotides? Almost anyone can benefit from polynucleotide treatments, but they are usually not recommended for younger individuals. Since polynucleotides come from fish, they are not suitable for vegetarians, vegans, or people with fish allergies. They can be combined with other injectables to enhance results. What does the treatment involve? Typically, the treatment involves 2-3 sessions spaced two weeks apart, followed by a maintenance dose every six months.
